Jennifer’s civil and commercial practice focuses on contractual claims, shareholder remedies, real property disputes, professional negligence, and employment law. She is a seasoned litigator who has represented plaintiffs and defendants in various tribunals and at all levels of court in Ontario. She is an avid puzzler who applies her critical thinking skills to her cases, continually adapting litigation strategy and seeking tactical opportunities for settlement. Jennifer is also a licensed Private Investigator and is currently expanding her practice to include workplace investigations.

Jennifer prides herself on fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for clients to achieve their goals, both in litigation and in business. She is well-known and widely appreciated for her endless well of kindness and curiosity, as well as her sharp wit and keen intellect. Prior to joining Keenberg & Co as a founding member, Jennifer spent the early years of her career in the litigation group of a large national firm and continued to hone her skills with a leading boutique firm.

Jennifer received her JD from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and was awarded the Horace E. Read Award for greatest overall contribution to scholarship and student life. Jennifer served as the President of the Law Students’ Society and was the Valedictorian of her graduating class. Before law school, Jennifer worked at a family-owned Home Hardware store in Newfoundland, where she was born and raised.
